In order to strengthen the role of VET and training providers in general, flexible and modular learning opportunities should be available for all, addressing targeted needs to reskill or up-skill, bridge particular skills and qualifications\u2019 gaps, and most importantly ensure widely recognised validation of learning outcomes. Through this process, both training providers and trainees will benefit since the former will improve resilience and adaptiveness to the new digital era of education and training, while the latter will have access to highly relevant to their needs and expectations training offers that can support them in improving professional development and employability potential. The utilisation of a common framework of transparency and verification of acquired skills, knowledge and competences will not only contribute in quality assurance of VET, but will also support the wider use of European reference tools for the recognition of outcomes. Additionally, the incorporation of the digital component of credentials is anticipated to increase transparency and decrease bureaucratical and administrational procedures that usually impede the attractiveness of the capacity of trainers and training providers to uptake new, innovative approaches for the development and delivery of training, as well as for the validation of learning outcomes. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px; line-height: 2;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Support the professional development and employability potential of learners\/trainees through the provision of free, microVET courses. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px; line-height: 2;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Reinforce cooperation of training providers and the labour market actors to better identify skill gaps and shortages and address them through targeted training offers linked to micro-credentials. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;
