On February 15^th  2023, the Bulgarian government accepted a proposal to the Economic and Social Council to develop an opinion on “The need for the introduction and possible approaches for the implementation in national practice of the Council Recommendation on individual learning accounts and the Council Recommendation on a European approach to micro-credentials to promote lifelong learning and employability”.

The Opinion will support the development and implementation of new education, training and employment policy measures to enable more adults (over 16 years) to engage in learning and to reduce skills shortages.
